Sony has informed its retail partners that the supply of the PlayStation 5 Pro will remain constrained until early 2027. The company is maintaining a cautious distribution strategy due to limited production capacity and high market demand.

The upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto 6, scheduled for November 19, is expected to significantly increase demand for the console. Since the game will not be available on PC at launch, Sony is positioning the PS5 Pro as the primary platform for the title.

Retailers in Germany have already reported low stock levels, with secondary market prices exceeding the official retail price by several hundred euros. Despite expected shipments in the coming weeks, Sony has confirmed that overall inventory remains limited.

Market analysts and retailers have warned of potential shortages throughout the fourth quarter. Consumers face an unstable supply environment, and sporadic restocks are unlikely to resolve the deficit before the major game launch.
