Sony is currently testing a new rewards program for the PlayStation Store, which allows users to receive wallet credit after purchasing specific game titles. Multiple users on platforms like Reddit have reported seeing these offers, which appear to be active for a limited time. For example, one user received $10 in wallet credit after purchasing the game Blood of the Dawnwalker.

The rewards program has been spotted by players in the United States and other regions. Titles such as A Plague Tale: Requiem, Star Wars: Squadrons, and Halloween have also been associated with these promotional prompts. The offer for Blood of the Dawnwalker is scheduled to conclude on September 29. It remains unclear why only a subset of users can currently access these specific store incentives.

Analysts suggest the initiative could be linked to a Wallet Credits application discovered in the store earlier this February. Another possibility is that Sony is experimenting with dynamic pricing models or preparing a broader loyalty program. Similar cashback mechanisms are already utilized by competitors like Microsoft, which has previously offered $5 in credit for pre-ordering games on the Xbox Store.
