Sony PlayStation has announced a price reduction for the PULSE Explore wireless earbuds in Japan. Starting September 15, the price will drop from 34,980 JPY to 22,980 JPY including tax.
The price cut represents a reduction of approximately one-third. Currently, PlayStation has not announced any price changes for these earbuds in other regional markets.
The PULSE Explore are the first wireless earbuds from PlayStation. They feature planar magnetic drivers to provide precise stereo sound in PS5 games that support 3D audio.
The device includes two hidden microphones with AI-enhanced noise suppression. It supports both Bluetooth and PlayStation Link wireless technology, offering 5 hours of battery life on its own and 15 hours total with the charging case.
