Solidigm, a subsidiary of SK Hynix, has announced the expansion of its manufacturing network for data center solid-state drives. The company is adding a new ODM production site located in Taiwan to its existing infrastructure.
The company confirmed that the technical specifications and design of its data center SSD products will remain unchanged despite the addition of the new facility. The move is intended to improve manufacturing flexibility and ensure business continuity.
Customers may begin receiving SSD units manufactured at the new Taiwanese site starting from December 24, 2026. This date was officially communicated by the company in a product change notification issued on September 25.
According to reports from the Seoul Economic Daily, Solidigm has already established manufacturing partnerships with Powertech Technology Inc. and Pegatron in Taiwan to support its operations in the region.
