In September 2026, the Russian brand Solaris increased prices for its HC crossover and KRX cross-hatchback models. The HC, formerly known as Hyundai Creta, saw a price hike of 70,000 ₽ across all 11 available trim levels. The KRX, previously branded as Kia Rio X-Line, became 50,000 ₽ more expensive in all five remaining configurations.
The entry-level Solaris HC Prime now starts at 2.57 ₽ million. Prices for higher-end versions of the HC, such as the Prestige Smart with a 150 hp engine and all-wheel drive, have reached 3.985 ₽ million. The manufacturer also removed two all-wheel-drive HC variants with a 1.6-liter engine from the lineup.
Solaris has discontinued the manual transmission option for the KRX model, removing the Luxe AV trim. All remaining KRX versions are now equipped exclusively with a 1.6-liter 123 hp engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. The starting price for the KRX Comfort trim is now 2.585 ₽ million.
These vehicles are produced at the former Hyundai manufacturing facility near Saint Petersburg. The company has been gradually reducing its model range, having previously removed base manual transmission versions of the KRS and KRX models in August, which effectively raised the entry-level prices for those vehicles by 110,000 ₽ and 100,000 ₽ respectively.
