In September, the number of unique active programs on the Solana network exceeded 8,400, marking a new record. These programs function as smart contracts for swaps, bridges, bots, and games. However, data from SolanaFloor suggests a lower figure of 7,699 active programs, noting it as the highest level since August 2025.
The network saw a 38.5% month-over-month increase in funded wallets, reaching 16.1 million. Daily active stablecoin addresses grew by 269% year-over-year to 888,000. Monthly application revenue hit $180 million, representing 32% of total blockchain app revenue for the month, with a daily peak of $7.935 million on September 12.
Arbitrage and sandwich bots lead the ecosystem with 877 active programs, followed by 315 DeFi applications, 288 bridges, 222 gaming and casino programs, and 168 swap protocols. Notable platforms include Pump.fun AMM and Jupiter Aggregator v6. Research indicates that out of 42,500 deployed programs, only 3,118 maintained sustained user interaction.
