Spot Solana exchange-traded funds in the US recorded an outflow of $24.8 million for the week ending October 9. This result marks the largest weekly exit since the funds launched in October 2025 and concludes a 14-week period of consistent inflows.
The decline in net assets for Solana funds reached $170 million, bringing the total to $1.73 billion. While the outflows accounted for $24.8 million of this drop, the majority reflects a 10.25% decrease in the price of SOL during the trading week.
Other cryptocurrency ETFs also faced significant outflows during the same period. Bitcoin funds lost $681.1 million, while Ethereum ETFs saw a reduction of $542.1 million. Additionally, Zcash and Hyperliquid funds reported outflows of $30.7 million and $9.4 million respectively.
In contrast, XRP ETFs maintained a positive trend by attracting $11.3 million in inflows, marking 13 consecutive weeks of growth. Despite an 8.2% price decline for the asset during the week, cumulative net inflows for XRP ETFs reached a record $1.80 billion.
Year-to-date figures show that Solana and XRP funds have outperformed Bitcoin ETFs in terms of net capital attraction. Since January 1, 2026, Solana funds have drawn $816.8 million and XRP funds $635.5 million, compared to $494.1 million for Bitcoin.
