Solana has entered the top four platforms for Zcash (ZEC) spot trading volume, processing approximately $64 million in trades over a 24-hour period. This growth represents a 220% increase from previous metrics, granting Solana a 5.35% share of the global ZEC spot trading market.

The current volume leaderboard is led by Binance with $481.6 million, followed by Coinbase with $281.8 million and Kraken with $124.2 million. Solana's $64 million volume places it directly behind these three major centralized exchanges.

The tokenized value of bridged ZEC on Solana is reported at $112.8 million. This liquidity has been facilitated by cross-chain infrastructure such as OmniBridge, with the majority of trading activity occurring on decentralized exchanges like Raydium and Orca, where cumulative volumes for ZEC-related assets have exceeded hundreds of millions.

The increase in demand is linked to Grayscale's launch of a spot ZEC exchange-traded product, which provided a regulated entry point for traditional finance investors. Zcash utilizes zero-knowledge proofs to provide optional transaction privacy.

The growth also highlights security risks associated with bridged assets. Cross-chain bridges have been a significant attack surface in DeFi, leading to billions in losses, and the $112.8 million in tokenized ZEC on Solana depends on the security of the bridge infrastructure.
