In 2026, residents of the Vologda region increasingly opted for mid-range smartphones. According to MegaFon, the share of smartphone users in the region rose by 2% over the past year, reaching 76%. Currently, users in the area utilize devices from more than 90 different brands.
The regional smartphone market is led by Realme, followed by Samsung and Xiaomi. The most popular specific models include the Realme Note 60, Samsung Galaxy A17, and Xiaomi Redmi 9A. In the feature phone segment, consumers frequently choose devices from Russian and Chinese manufacturers, specifically the BQ 3595 Elegant, Fontel FP200, and Philips Xenium E207.
To support regional demand, MegaFon has expanded its retail presence. Recent openings include new MegaFon and Yota stores in Cherepovets on Gorky and Lenin streets, as well as a new location on Lenin Street in the town of Gryazovets.
