The smart #2, a joint venture between Geely and Mercedes-Benz, debuted at the Paris Motor Show on October 12. This model marks the brand's return to the two-seater city car segment after shifting focus toward larger electric vehicles.

Built on the Electric Compact Architecture platform, the vehicle measures 2,746 mm in length. The European version features a 60 kW rear motor and a 35.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a WLTP range of 290 km.

The charging system supports 65 kW DC input, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes. European specifications are currently awaiting final type approval before market entry.

The company plans to release a limited Couture Edition, with 999 units allocated for Europe and 999 for China. Chinese customers will have access to Premium and Couture trims, while European buyers can choose between Pure, Pure+, and Couture versions.

Early ordering for the smart #2 will open in Europe and China. The manufacturer will disclose local pricing and availability details for each market at a later date.
