Smart has officially launched the new Smart #2 gilded custom edition in China. The manufacturer has set a production limit of 999 units for the domestic market, with a retail price of ¥112 999.
The vehicle features a two-seat layout with a body measuring 2751 to 2764 mm in length, 1669 mm in width, and 1555 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1875 mm and reaches a top speed of 140 km/h.
The car is equipped with a 35.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery from CATL, providing a maximum CLTC range of 410 km. The charging system allows a 30 to 80 percent charge in under 15 minutes.
The powertrain utilizes an 11-in-1 integrated electric drive system with a power density of up to 5 kW/kg. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
