Internet provider SkyNet is experiencing a major network failure affecting hundreds of thousands of subscribers in Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. The outage began at 2:00 AM on September 14, 2026, and has persisted for over nine hours.
According to the Downdetector monitoring service, the company received more than 6,300 user reports by 11:00 AM. Most complaints originated from Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, with additional reports coming from the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Vologda Oblast, and Perm Krai.
Users report that the provider's technical support channels are unresponsive. Initially, a chatbot provided automated updates regarding restoration efforts, but subsequently, both phone lines and in-app chat services became completely inaccessible.
As of now, the company has not disclosed the specific cause of the network disruption or provided an estimated timeline for when services will be fully restored to its customer base.
