Sitronics Group has completed the installation of three new charging stations for electric vessels in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Nizhny Novgorod. The project was carried out under a contract with the passenger port operator Vodohod.
The charging stations utilize three connectors to supply alternating current to the vessels, which is then converted into direct current on board. The company developed its own control software and controllers to manage the charging process and ensure safety during the connection between the ship and the shore.
The new infrastructure is designed to operate under various weather conditions. According to Vladimir Dinkevich, director of the Sitronics Group charging station development center, the systems are flexible enough to be adapted to different operational schedules and conditions.
The specific locations for the new stations include the Petropavlovskaya Krepost pier on the Kronverkskaya embankment in Saint Petersburg, the Nagatinskaya embankment in Moscow, and pier number 6 in Nizhny Novgorod.
