SilverStone has introduced the CS340, a new ITX NAS chassis designed for compact storage builds. The case supports Mini-ITX and Deep Mini-ITX motherboards and utilizes Flex ATX power supplies. Its dimensions are 220 x 225 x 300 mm, featuring a removable motherboard tray for easier assembly.
The chassis includes four hot-swappable drive bays compatible with 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives, supporting U.2, SAS, and SATA interfaces. The backplane is equipped with two SlimSAS 8i connectors for PCIe Gen4 and four SATA ports. Additionally, the unit provides one 2.5-inch internal drive bay and a slot for a 9.5mm optical drive.
Cooling options include space for two 80mm front fans, one pre-installed 120mm rear fan, and an internal 60mm fan. The case offers one expansion slot for cards up to 250mm in length and 113mm in height, with a 65mm clearance for CPU coolers. The front I/O panel features one USB-C port and two USB-A 5Gbps ports.
