Sigma has introduced two new full-frame mirrorless lenses: the 85mm F1.2 DG DN Art and the 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG Contemporary. Both models are available for L-mount and Sony E-mount systems and will be released on September 30, 2026. The 85mm F1.2 Art is priced at $1,999, while the 20-60mm Contemporary is priced at $849.

The 85mm F1.2 DG DN Art features an optical structure of 15 elements in 13 groups, including two SLD and three aspherical lenses. It utilizes 13 rounded aperture blades for a circular bokeh effect. The L-mount version weighs approximately 905g, which Sigma claims is the smallest and lightest in its class of AF lenses.

The lens is equipped with dual HLA high-response linear motors for fast and silent autofocus. Its body includes two AFL buttons, an aperture ring with a lock switch, and a click/de-click switch for video. It also features a dust- and splash-proof construction and water- and oil-repellent coating on the front element, with optimization for focus breathing.

The 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG Contemporary lens has an optical structure of 15 elements in 13 groups, containing three aspherical and three SLD lenses. The maximum aperture varies by focal length: F2.8 for 20-22mm, F3.2 for 23-28mm, F3.5 for 29-37mm, and F4 for 38-60mm. The L-mount version weighs 385g and has a 67mm filter diameter.

The Contemporary lens emphasizes close-up capabilities, with a minimum focus distance of 15.8cm at 28mm and a maximum magnification of 1:2.3 at 35mm and 1:2.9 at 60mm. It uses a single HLA linear motor for autofocus and also features dust- and splash-proof construction and water- and oil-repellent coating.

Additionally, Sigma announced four new filter series: the WR Crystal Protector PTC-21, the WR UV Protector PUV-21, and the standard LPT-21 protector, along with the WR Circular Polarizer CPL-21. These filters will be released on September 30 and are available in various sizes from 52mm to 105mm.
