Sigma Germany has scheduled a new product launch event for October 24. While the company has not officially disclosed the specific items to be unveiled, industry reports suggest the potential debut of a 65mm full-frame autofocus prime lens. Speculation indicates the lens may feature a maximum aperture wider than f/1.2, though the exact specifications remain unconfirmed.

The manufacturer recently expanded its lineup with the release of the 85mm F1.2 DG Art and 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG Contemporary lenses on September 30. Both models are available for L-mount and Sony E-mount systems. The 85mm F1.2 DG Art lens utilizes a dual HLA autofocus system and currently stands as the brand's widest aperture autofocus full-frame mirrorless lens.

Pricing for the newly released optics has been set for the Chinese market. The 85mm F1.2 DG Art lens is priced at ¥9388, while the 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG Contemporary model is available for ¥4999. Further details regarding the upcoming October event will be provided by the company closer to the scheduled date.
