Rock Tech Lithium has partnered with Siemens Canada to create a digital process twin for its planned Red Rock Lithium Converter in Ontario. The facility is designed to reach an annual production capacity of up to 32 000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent.

The digital twin serves as a virtual model to simulate energy flows, material streams, and operational efficiency. This allows the company to validate design choices and reliability metrics before committing significant capital to construction.

The collaboration follows a memorandum of understanding signed in March 2026. Siemens will assist with process control, automation architecture, and instrumentation for the project's definitive feasibility study, which began in late June 2026.

Rock Tech expects to complete the feasibility study by mid-December 2026. The company intends to use the Red Rock site as a blueprint for future converters in Canada and other G7 nations, while securing feedstock from its Georgia Lake and Victory projects.
