Shure has introduced the MV6 Gen 2, a new USB gaming microphone designed for streamers and esports enthusiasts. The device is priced at $169 or €150. It features the company's proprietary voice isolation technology, an automatic level mode, and real-time noise reduction to manage ambient sound and maintain consistent volume levels.
The microphone is available in black and white finishes and includes a desktop stand along with a 2-meter USB-C cable. It is compatible with computers, smartphones, and tablets. Users can configure audio settings via the MOTIV app, which saves the preferences directly onto the hardware for consistent performance across multiple devices.
The hardware includes a 5-band equalizer for custom sound profiles and a 3.5mm headphone jack for real-time monitoring. Additionally, the front panel features a physical button for instant muting. The package comes with all necessary accessories, including the stand and the connectivity cable.
