Shokz showcased its first AI-powered headphones, the OpenFit 2 AI, at the 2026 Yunqi Conference in Hangzhou. The device integrates the Qwen large language model to provide features such as AI meeting summaries, real-time translation, and transcription. The headphones are optimized for professional environments, including finance and law, with 12 industry-specific vocabulary sets and 19 built-in summary templates.

In collaboration with Guangfan Technology, Shokz introduced the 'AI Lab' feature set for the OpenFit 2 AI. Users can activate the AI assistant via a double-tap gesture to manage schedules, record voice memos, and summarize long messages from apps like WeChat. These tools are designed to reduce the need for manual smartphone interaction during daily tasks.

The OpenFit 2 AI features an IP55 rating and weighs 9.4g per earbud. It utilizes a dolphin-arc design with 0.7mm flexible titanium wire for stability. The hardware includes a 21mm x 11mm composite diaphragm, Bluetooth 5.4, and a four-microphone noise reduction system for calls.

The device offers 11 hours of playback on a single charge, with a total of 48 hours provided by the charging case. It supports fast charging, delivering 2 hours of listening time from a 10-minute charge. The product, priced at ¥1398, has been available for purchase since August 2026.
