Shanling announced the upcoming release of its M8T copper edition Hi-Fi player, scheduled for September 15 at 10:00. The device will be available at an initial price of ¥11 980.

The player features a chassis crafted from high-strength copper alloy using precision CNC machining. The company notes that this material choice provides a stable metal base that helps isolate the acoustic system from external interference.

Internally, the M8T is equipped with two AKM AK4191EQ and two AK4499EX chips, achieving a signal-to-noise ratio of 135dB per channel and distortion of -124dB. The audio system includes dual JAN6418 vacuum tubes, offering three sound modes and three gain levels, with output power reaching 1125mW at 32 ohms in transistor mode.

The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It features a 6.0-inch Sharp touchscreen and operates on Android 13 with AGLO lossless output technology, which removes Android SRC limitations. The battery life is rated for 15.5 hours of playback.
