Seres has officially addressed concerns regarding the future of its partnership with Huawei following the transition to a dedicated retail model for AITO vehicles. The company confirmed that the strategic cooperation framework remains unchanged, ensuring that Huawei's intelligent automotive technologies will continue to be integrated into future AITO models.

The company emphasized that the shift toward brand-exclusive retail channels does not affect the technical collaboration between the two firms. Huawei will continue to provide its smart automotive solutions, with ongoing iterations and upgrades planned to maintain high-end intelligent mobility standards for users.

This clarification follows a statement issued by Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance on September 15. The new model grants Seres primary control over product definition, design, marketing, retail channels, and service systems, while Huawei Terminal continues to provide empowerment and technical support.

Previously, Richard Yu, Chairman of the Terminal BG at Huawei, highlighted that vehicles within the Harmony Intelligent Mobility ecosystem utilize a comprehensive suite of Huawei smart solutions. These models feature six proprietary core technologies and one core capability, which remain central to the ongoing product development strategy.
