Seres Group is adjusting its business model for the AITO brand under the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance framework. As of September 15, the company is transitioning to a dedicated and exclusive operational model for the brand, as announced by Seres and Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance.

Kang Bo, Director and Vice President of Seres Group, stated on September 18 that the company plans to enter the sedan and MPV markets. This expansion will follow the company's efforts to consolidate its current market share in the premium SUV segment, with market entry timing dependent on commercial viability.

The company relies on its proprietary Seres Magic Cube technology platform, which was officially launched in its 2.0 version during the Guangzhou Auto Show on November 21, 2024. This platform is designed to support the development of various vehicle types, ranging from B-class to D-class sedans, SUVs, and MPVs.

The Magic Cube platform 2.0 features AI-driven energy management, high-voltage architecture, and an eight-in-one electric drive system. It supports multiple power configurations, including extended-range, pure electric, and hybrid systems, while enabling modular and flexible manufacturing processes to improve R&D efficiency.
