Seres has officially clarified that the recent adjustments to its partnership model with Huawei will not affect the OTA update process for AITO vehicles. The company confirmed that advanced technologies, including Huawei Qiankun ADS and the HarmonyOS cockpit, will continue to be integrated into the entire product lineup.

Under the updated framework announced on September 15, Seres will take the lead in product definition, design, brand marketing, retail channels, and service systems. Huawei Terminal will continue to provide support and empowerment within this collaborative structure.

The company addressed concerns regarding potential changes to vehicle support, emphasizing that existing user rights and future service standards remain unchanged. Seres aims to focus on brand development and service improvements to enhance overall product value for its customers.

Seres also refuted rumors suggesting that AITO vehicles would be removed from Huawei stores by 2027. The manufacturer stated that these retail locations will continue to sell AITO products, maintaining the current distribution strategy for the brand.
