Selectel has introduced a suite of seven managed PaaS solutions designed for big data storage, processing, and analysis. These services integrate with existing IaaS and PaaS offerings to enable end-to-end analytics, real-time monitoring, and scalable infrastructure development without requiring system migration or downtime.

The new portfolio includes managed services for Trino for SQL queries, Hive Metastore with Apache Iceberg support, and Redash for data visualization. It also features ClickHouse for high-speed analytical queries, an S3 data migration tool, and high-performance hot S3 storage with a throughput of up to 1.5 Tbps using NVMe SSDs.

For AI-related tasks, the company launched a managed PostgreSQL service with PGVector support for vector search and RAG applications. All tools are based on open-source software and utilize a cloud-vendor-agnostic approach, allowing businesses to maintain control over their technology and data within hybrid infrastructures.

According to Selectel, these managed services eliminate the need for significant capital expenditures and months of development previously required to build data platforms. The company aims to provide businesses with access to advanced technologies while avoiding vendor lock-in and reducing the need for specialized personnel.
