Chongwu Du, Chief Strategy Officer at Securitize, stated at the LONGITUDE Singapore event on October 8, 2026, that the future of tokenized finance lies in a multichain approach. He argued that the industry will not rely on a single dominant blockchain, but rather on a select group of networks.
Securitize currently supports compliant asset issuance across at least 18 blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Sui, and TRON. As of September 2026, the firm managed approximately $5 billion in tokenized assets. The company operates as an SEC-registered broker-dealer and maintains an alternative trading system.
The firm has established partnerships with major asset managers such as BlackRock, KKR, and Neuberger Berman. Recent expansion efforts include an integration with the UAE-based ADI Chain on September 30, 2026, and a memorandum of understanding with LG CNS in Korea signed on October 6, 2026, to explore tokenized funds and stablecoins.
On October 8, 2026, Securitize launched tokenized US stocks on the Solana network. These assets are backed 1:1 by the underlying shares. Chongwu Du, who joined the company in February 2026 after working at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, emphasized that the firm ensures regulatory compliance remains consistent across all supported chains.
