Seasonic and custom PC case manufacturer XTIA have announced a limited-edition collaboration, the Xproto-Z ROSSO. The set features both a power supply unit and a chassis finished in a bright red color scheme. The companies have limited production to 100 units worldwide, with the set priced at ¥2399.
The included ROSSO power supply is based on the Seasonic FOCUS PX-1000 ATX 3.1 model. It features a fully modular design with PET-sleeved cables and holds 80 PLUS Platinum and Cybenetics Platinum efficiency certifications. The unit is equipped with a 135mm FDB fan, Japanese capacitors rated for 105 degrees Celsius, and a 12V-2x6 cable with colored terminals.
The power supply incorporates multiple protection mechanisms, including OPP, OVP, UVP, OCP, SCP, OTP, and SDP. It is rated for operation at altitudes up to 5000 meters and comes with a 10-year warranty. The XTIA Xproto-Z chassis features an open-frame modular design made from CNC-machined aluminum with a 4mm thick main frame and VESA mount support.
