SberCIB Investment Research has introduced a new methodology for forecasting Bitcoin prices, utilizing three independent models. These models evaluate the cryptocurrency based on global financial liquidity, mining costs, and its competitive relationship with gold.
The first model, which accounts for 50% of the final forecast, tracks global liquidity and market indicators. It is designed for short-term projections up to three months and has demonstrated a 75% accuracy rate in historical testing.
The second model, representing 45% of the forecast, focuses on mining economics and long-term valuation. The third model, contributing 5%, analyzes scenarios involving Bitcoin's competition with gold and its potential role in central bank reserves.
Based on these models, analysts project Bitcoin to reach $122,700 by the end of 2027 and $282,300 by the end of 2030. A risk-based scenario suggests lower figures of $100,000 and $164,000 for the same periods.
