Sberbank has introduced a limited edition of the SberBox Max media center, specifically designed for cloud gaming. The package includes a custom gamepad that offers seamless connectivity and low latency, which is essential for dynamic gaming genres. The controller features integrated voice control powered by the GigaChat AI, allowing users to navigate the interface through voice commands.

The new version of the device features a specialized launcher that provides direct access to the VK Play cloud gaming platform. Users receive a bonus of 10 hours of gaming time upon purchase. The launcher categorizes games by genre, and the visual elements, including thumbnails and covers, were generated using GigaChat. The gamepad itself is capable of up to 10 hours of operation on a single charge.

Beyond gaming, the media center retains its core functionality as a smart TV device. It utilizes AI to upscale low-resolution video and provides personalized movie recommendations based on user preferences. GigaChat assists in searching for content across all installed applications, even if the user cannot recall the exact title of a film.

The limited edition SberBox Max will be available for order starting September 29, 2026, through the official SberDevices website. According to Andrey Belevtsev, Senior Vice President at Sberbank, the product serves as an experimental platform for testing new TV-based experiences, while Alexander Mikheev, CEO of VK Play, noted that the device aims to make gaming accessible without high-end hardware.
