Sberbank has updated its insurance marketplace, allowing customers to pay for OSAGO policies using SberSpasibo loyalty points. Users can select this option during checkout, where points are automatically converted into rubles to cover part or all of the policy cost.
The marketplace is accessible via the Auto or Insurance sections in the SberBank Online application. It features offers from 16 insurance companies, including SberStrakhovanie. To calculate the policy cost, users need to provide their vehicle registration document, passport, and driver license.
Since September, purchases on the OSAGO marketplace have been included in the SberSpasibo bonus categories. Customers can earn cashback if they select this category in the loyalty program section. Bonuses are awarded regardless of the chosen insurance provider.
To accumulate points, users must select specific categories in the SberBank Online app each month and spend at least 100 ₽ using a Sberbank card within those categories. Points are also earned through purchases made at partner stores.
