Sberbank has introduced a new integration allowing businesses to send payroll lists directly from the 1C accounting software. This feature is now available to 1 million corporate clients of the bank, eliminating the need for manual file exports and uploads between systems.
The process is powered by Sber API and 1C:DirectBank technology. Users can now transmit payroll data and receive processing status updates without leaving the 1C interface. Companies that previously utilized Sber API for other tasks must reconfigure their settings to enable this specific functionality.
According to Ekaterina Gartseva, director of the Social and Payroll Solutions division at Sberbank, the update aims to reduce manual workload for accountants. The bank currently supports over 670 services through its API, which is utilized by more than 38,000 Russian companies for tasks like managing payment orders and account statements.
