Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, has proposed a 'bill of digital rights' to support economic growth in the era of artificial intelligence. He argues that the future economy requires a framework focused on freedoms rather than restrictions to foster innovation and productivity.

The proposed framework outlines five fundamental rights for individuals and companies. These include the freedom to create and issue digital assets for financing, the right to choose a custodian, the ability to transfer assets between entities, and the right to use assets for spending, investing, or borrowing.

Saylor stated that the goal is to enable the creation of 10 million new companies by providing better access to capital markets. He believes that restricting the utility of digital assets limits their economic potential, especially as AI automation makes traditional products obsolete.

Separately, Strategy recently resumed its Bitcoin acquisition strategy. The company purchased 950 BTC for $75.7 million, with an average price of $79,670 per coin. This transaction brings the total corporate holdings to 846,000 BTC.

The total investment for the 846,000 BTC held by the company amounts to approximately $63.8 billion. The average cost per coin across these holdings is $75,416. At the time of the report, the market price of Bitcoin was approximately $84,523.
