The Russian manufacturer SAUK has introduced a new GSM module with an integrated controller designed for vehicle access control. The device allows users to open gates and barriers by calling from their mobile phones or sending SMS messages. The system identifies authorized users by their phone number, automatically dropping the call to ensure the process remains free of charge for the driver.
The module is designed for use within the SAUK Access system, complementing existing UHF RFID readers. It features an IP65-rated sealed housing, ensuring durability in various environments. The device eliminates the need for physical key fobs, access cards, or dedicated mobile applications, as the user's phone serves as the primary authentication tool for entry.
The system supports three operational modes. It can integrate with the SAUK Access software for centralized management and logging, function autonomously without an internet connection, or connect to third-party systems via an open HTTP API. This flexibility allows the module to be used in residential complexes, private homes, and corporate parking facilities.
