Saudi Aramco is preparing to restart crude oil shipments from the Red Sea to Asian markets. This follows a period of disruption caused by damage to the East-West pipeline, which serves as a key route for transporting oil from the eastern fields of Saudi Arabia to the Red Sea coast.

The pipeline operations were suspended on September 12 following aerial attacks that necessitated precautionary measures. The shutdown of the Yanbu terminal resulted in the cancellation and delay of multiple cargo shipments. During the outage, Aramco redirected oil through alternative Gulf terminals and utilized ship-to-ship transfers.

The Saudi Ministry of Energy and Saudi Aramco remain the primary entities responsible for confirming when the pipeline will return to full service. Market participants are monitoring the situation for official updates or reports regarding the timeline for repairs, as any further security incidents could influence the restoration process.
