Saudi Arabian startup Ceer has unveiled two electric vehicle models, a sedan and an SUV, under the Exobot brand. The company, a joint venture between the Saudi Public Investment Fund and Foxconn, plans to expand its lineup with five additional models by 2030.

The Exobot vehicles feature designs by former McLaren design director Rob Melville, with final approval from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The cars are scheduled to go on sale in Saudi Arabia starting in 2027.

Ceer is led by CEO Jim DeLuca, a former General Motors executive. While the initial focus is on electric vehicles, the company intends to diversify its future offerings to include hybrid and internal combustion engine models based on market demand.

The project is funded by the Saudi Public Investment Fund, which also holds a controlling stake in Lucid Motors. Lucid is currently constructing a manufacturing facility in King Abdullah Economic City.
