Saudi Arabian startup Ceer has unveiled its flagship Exobot sedan and SUV, marking the country's first foray into domestic vehicle manufacturing. The company, owned by the Public Investment Fund, plans to expand its portfolio to seven models by 2030, including hybrid options.
The Exobot models feature a 112-kWh battery pack, offering a range of over 310 miles for the SUV and at least 373 miles for the sedan. The vehicles utilize an 800-volt architecture, supporting DC fast charging to 80 percent in approximately 30 minutes.
Equipped with a tri-motor setup, the vehicles produce 1,111 horsepower and 1,100 lb-ft of torque. The sedan is designed to reach 62 mph in just over 2 seconds, while the SUV achieves the same in 2.4 seconds.
Production will take place at a dedicated complex in King Abdullah Economic City. The project aims to create 35,000 direct and indirect jobs by 2034, supported by a leadership team with experience from major legacy automakers.
The vehicles incorporate unique design elements, such as falcon-wing doors and electrochromatic glass. The infotainment system, co-developed with Foxconn, includes a 48-inch dashboard display and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
