SanDisk has introduced the Guardian series of high-endurance storage products designed for continuous recording applications, such as dash cams, home security cameras, and vehicle sentry modes. The lineup includes three distinct products tailored for demanding environments where consistent write performance is essential.
The Guardian dash cam microSD card supports resolutions from Full HD to 4K and is built to withstand high temperatures and humidity. The 512GB version is rated for up to 40,000 hours of video recording. The security monitoring microSD card, also available in capacities from 32GB to 512GB, is designed for outdoor systems and features water and dust resistance.
The series also features a compact USB-C flash drive for vehicle monitoring systems. While the 32GB microSD cards have a suggested retail price of $28.99, pricing for the Chinese market has not yet been disclosed. Previously, the CZ53C USB-C series appeared on JD.com with prices ranging from ¥499 for 128GB to ¥2599 for 1TB.
