SanDisk has unveiled the E31 portable solid-state drive, which features a compact design intended for portability. The device utilizes a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface capable of speeds up to 10 Gbps, enabling read speeds of up to 1000 MB/s.
The drive is built to be durable, featuring a design without rotating platters or fragile moving parts. According to the manufacturer, the E31 can withstand drops from heights of up to 2 meters and comes with a 3-year limited warranty.
The new storage solution is compatible with various devices equipped with Type-C ports, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Sales for the SanDisk E31 are scheduled to commence on September 21, with the 2 TB model priced at ¥2199.
