The Future of Work Social Mixer and Open Demos, organized by Ontology of Value, took place on October 12 in San Francisco. The event attracted over 300 attendees, including founders, investors, and HR leaders, following more than 980 registrations.
Seven startups presented their products, including Spotlight companies AskMAE.ai, Samson, and conspace, alongside Showcase participants Apex Replicant, Farmio, MuseCool, and ONLYOFFICE. Additionally, 9-year-old Yasmin Rustada demonstrated her platform, Coachley.ai.
During the event, Dr. Pavel Vinitsky of Synexis presented data on private-market deal cycles. He noted that fundraising cycles have extended to six to nine months, with diligence processes taking two to three times longer compared to the previous year.
The event was supported by sponsors including Fidelity Private Shares, TechnologyWire, and Mos Health. The next installment in the series, Future of Work Pitch Night #8, is scheduled for April 26, 2027.
