Samsung Electronics has officially commenced mass production of the Exynos 2700 processor. According to industry reports, the production volume for this new chip has increased by 10% compared to the previous generation.
The processor features a 10-core architecture organized into two clusters. The first group includes one Arm C1-Ultra core at 3.36 GHz and four C1-Pro cores at 2.88 GHz. The second group consists of one Arm C2-Ultra core at 4.24 GHz and four C2-Pro cores at 3.74 GHz.
Benchmark results for the Exynos 2700 engineering sample on GeekBench 6.7.1 show a single-core score of 4,328 points and a multi-core score of 14,700 points. The chip is expected to integrate the Xclipse 970 GPU and a dedicated NPU for on-device AI operations.
The new hardware will support LPDDR6 memory to meet the bandwidth requirements of next-generation mobile devices. Samsung plans to equip the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ with this processor, with potential availability in the Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra models in select markets.
