Samsung has officially released the stable version of One UI 9 for Galaxy devices. The update is initially available for the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra models, with plans to expand to additional devices in the future. The software comes pre-installed on the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8, and Flip8.
The update introduces enhanced Galaxy AI features and interface optimizations. The new My FanCam tool automatically tracks and centers subjects in recorded videos for social media sharing. The Now Brief feature now includes generative, editable cards for health, weather, and video summaries, while Security Brief consolidates alerts regarding malware and permissions.
Productivity and communication tools have also been upgraded. The Interpreter app adds a Thread View for conversation history, and the Conversation Mode offers faster translation speeds with Galaxy Buds support. Document Scan now handles curved pages, and Voice Recorder provides structured summaries. Additionally, Privacy Alerts and Scam Detection provide enhanced security.
