Samsung has significantly reduced the retail package for its budget Galaxy A07s and Galaxy A08 smartphones. According to recent unboxing reports, the boxes no longer include a USB-C cable, in addition to the previously omitted power adapter. The standard package now contains only the device, documentation, and a SIM eject tool.

The Galaxy A08, a 4G model released in 2026, features a MediaTek Helio G99+ processor and LPDDR5X memory. It is equipped with a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen, a 6000 mAh battery, and supports 25W wired charging. The device holds an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

Pricing for the Galaxy A08 starts at approximately $115 for the 4GB/64GB configuration, while the 6GB/128GB version is priced at around $135. The Galaxy A07s, which launched on September 7, also omits the charging cable, marking a shift for the company's entry-level segment.
