Samsung has released its October 2026 security patch, addressing a total of 62 vulnerabilities across its Galaxy device ecosystem. The update covers security flaws found within the Android operating system, the proprietary One UI interface, and various Samsung-specific software components.

The patch includes 45 CVE-classified vulnerabilities addressed through Google's Android security updates. Among these, nine are rated as critical, 33 as high-risk, and three as medium-risk. These fixes are essential for maintaining the integrity of the underlying Android platform on compatible devices.

Additionally, the company resolved 17 SVE-classified issues specific to Samsung hardware and services. This subset includes seven medium-risk and six high-risk vulnerabilities. Furthermore, four high-risk security flaws were identified and patched within Samsung Semiconductor components, specifically affecting Exynos system-on-chips.

The rollout of the October security update began several days ago for select models. Samsung is currently in the process of expanding the distribution of this patch to a broader range of its Galaxy devices to ensure comprehensive protection for its user base.
