Samsung appears to be scaling back its vacuum cleaner business, following its exit from the Chinese home appliance market. Reports indicate a shrinking inventory of Bespoke vacuum models and a lack of new product releases. The flagship Bespoke AI Jet Ultra, launched in 2025, has not yet been succeeded by a newer version.

The company showcased a new obstacle-avoiding robot vacuum at IFA 2025, but the device never reached the market. Furthermore, no new vacuum cleaners were introduced at IFA 2026, where the company focused on its AI Living smart home ecosystem. Instead, Samsung has released more affordable Jet series wireless vacuums in Europe.

Internal discussions within the Samsung Digital Appliance division reportedly involve a potential exit from the vacuum, dishwasher, and microwave segments. Industry sources cited low profitability and small market shares as primary drivers. Samsung previously ceased sales of TVs and appliances in China due to intense local competition.

Analysts suggest two potential paths for the company. Samsung might be preparing a new generation of Bespoke vacuums for 2027, with current stock shortages reflecting a transition period. Alternatively, the company could be phasing out the product line entirely or withdrawing from specific markets to optimize its portfolio.
