Samsung plans to maintain a conservative approach for the camera specifications of its 2027 Galaxy A series smartphones. Reports indicate that the upcoming Galaxy A38 will retain the sensor configuration used in its predecessor.
The device is expected to feature a 50 megapixel main camera, a 12 megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5 megapixel macro lens. The front-facing camera will likely remain at 12 megapixels, consistent with previous models.
While camera hardware remains unchanged, Samsung intends to focus on improvements in other areas, including the processor, battery, display, and overall system performance, though specific details are not yet available.
Pricing for the Galaxy A series has shown a consistent upward trend. The Galaxy A36 launched in 2025 at €379, while the Galaxy A37 debuted at €429, with its official retail price later rising to €469.
Based on these historical price adjustments, analysts suggest that the starting price for the Galaxy A38 could approach €500.
