The union representing DX division employees, who handle smartphones and home appliances, plans to hold protests at Chairman Lee Jae-yong's residence in Seoul's Yongsan District. Starting September 18, the group will organize rallies and single-person demonstrations to pressure the leadership.
The conflict stems from a May salary agreement where the union claims the DX division was marginalized. They argue that a significant pay gap exists between their division and the DS semiconductor unit, attributing current profit declines to management errors.
