Samsung is preparing to launch its first smart glasses in November, with availability confirmed for the US and South Korean markets. The device is a collaboration between Samsung, Gentle Monster, and Warby Parker, featuring a weight of approximately 41 grams with standard lenses.

The hardware is powered by the Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 platform and includes 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It lacks a display, relying on two open-ear speakers for audio and four microphones for Gemini voice interaction. The device is IPX4 water-resistant, though the charging case is not.

Battery life is rated at up to 9 hours for the glasses, with the charging case providing a total usage time of up to 72 hours. The product will be sold through the official websites of both partner brands, their physical retail stores, and Samsung Experience stores in the US.

The collection includes 16 versions from Gentle Monster and 10 versions from Warby Parker, offering various frame shapes and colors. Users can choose between clear or sun lenses. Custom optical lenses are available for US users via the Gentle Monster website, while South Korean users must visit local opticians.

Exclusive Galaxy ecosystem features require devices running One UI 9 or higher and Galaxy Watch models with Wear OS 7 or higher. While optimized for Samsung hardware, the glasses remain compatible with other Android devices and iPhones for basic functionality.
