Samsung has increased the retail prices for its Galaxy A series smartphones in the United States. The price hikes affect several models, ranging from the entry-level Galaxy A17 5G to the premium Galaxy A57 5G. This adjustment follows a previous price increase for the company's flagship Galaxy S26 lineup.

The Galaxy A57 5G saw the largest absolute price increase, rising from $550 to $600. The Galaxy A37 5G is now priced at $490, up from $450. The Galaxy A27 5G also became more expensive, with its price moving from $350 to $380.

The entry-level Galaxy A17 5G experienced a significant cumulative price increase. While the device launched at $200, its current price has reached $270, marking a total rise of $70 over the past few months. The company attributes these changes to the rising cost of RAM in 2026.

The new pricing structure shows a notable difference compared to the previous generation. For instance, the Galaxy A56 5G launched at $500, the Galaxy A36 5G at $400, the Galaxy A26 5G at $300, and the Galaxy A16 5G at $200.
