Samsung has released the second beta version of One UI 9.0 for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. The update is based on Android 17 and arrived one week after the testing program began.
The firmware introduces four Galaxy AI features previously available on the Galaxy S26, Z Fold 8, and Z Flip 8. These include Call Brief, which analyzes conversation context to display relevant information on screen during calls.
Users can now utilize Custom Cards to create personalized daily information cards by combining data from Samsung Health, Samsung Weather, and YouTube. Additionally, the Now Nudge feature analyzes screen content in real-time to suggest actions based on the current app.
The update also adds My FanCam, an AI tool for existing videos that identifies a selected person and automatically adjusts framing to keep them centered in the image. The final release date for One UI 9.0 on Android 17 for the S25 series is not yet announced.
