SAIC Volkswagen has introduced the ID. ERA 5S Peace of Mind Delivery Commitment to address high demand that currently exceeds monthly production capacity. The program offers compensation for customers if vehicle delivery is delayed beyond the date shown in the company's mobile application.
Under the terms of the commitment, customers receive compensation equivalent to ¥100 in V-Beans for every day of delay, starting from the day after the expected arrival date. This compensation is capped at 30 days, meaning a maximum total of ¥3,000 in V-Beans can be earned per customer.
The V-Beans can be redeemed within the official SAIC Volkswagen app for brand merchandise, original accessories, and maintenance packages. This policy applies to customers who lock in their orders on or before September 30, 2026.
The ID. ERA 5S was officially launched on August 21 at the Chengdu Motor Show. The vehicle features a 1.5L plug-in hybrid system with a 130kW drive motor, offering a pure electric range of over 160km and a combined range of 2,000km.
