SafeTech has updated its PayControl platform by introducing the PayControl Web SDK. This tool allows banks to integrate transaction confirmation mechanisms directly into their web applications, including Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
The update enables financial institutions to comply with the Bank of Russia Regulation No. 851-P, which mandates specific standards for the security, authorship, and integrity of electronic messages during banking operations.
By implementing the SDK, banks can move away from traditional SMS and push-code authentication methods. This approach provides a unified confirmation standard across both mobile and web-based digital channels.
The solution is particularly relevant for banks utilizing PWA as an alternative to native mobile applications, ensuring service continuity even when apps are unavailable in major app stores.
